In their official Facebook account, MMFF posted trailers of the official entries of this year’s on the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival.

Kabisera and Oro has yet to release their movie trailers.
The 2016 MMFF was a bit controversial as Vic Sotto and Vice Ganda movies were not selected as official entries.

Vic Sotto recently gave his side on this issue.
Ako, naniniwala ako sa salitang respeto.
“Respetado ko ang panlasa ng bawat tao.Nirerespeto ko ang panlasa ng naging screening committee. Ang masakit lang para sa akin, hindi nila nirespeto yung panlasang iyon ng manonood ng pelikulang Pilipino.” he said in an interview.
On the other hand Vice Ganda said “Kung malaking kawalan, gusto ko ng ilabas ang Metro Manila Film Festival kasi, it’s very unfair. Ang kawalan nito, sa mga manonood, hindi sa Metro Manila Film Fest.”
Both Vic and Vice agree that moviegoers especially kids will miss movies that they can watch.
