The Singapore Grand Prix Formula 1 Night Race 2014 is a motor race, part of the annual Formula 1 World Championships, which takes place on the Marina Bay Street Circuit, with the area surrounding it known as the Circuit Park. Sponsored by SingTel since 2008, this was the first ever night-time event in Formula One history, and the first street circuit in Asia.

For the Singapore Grand Prix Formula 1 Night Race 2014, the title sponsorship was taken over Singapore Airlines. Driver Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes AMG Petronas won 1st place in this leg of the race, beating out favourites Sebastian Vettel of Infiniti Red Bull Racing, and Fernando Alonso of Scuderia Ferrari.

Spotted the Kerbside Gourmet Food Truck, affectionately known as 'Kerby'! Singapore's and Asia's first social enterprise food truck, founded by Ms. Ee Poh Luan in 2013, the Kerbside Gourmet Food Truck / Kerby serves a small fusion cuisine menu, using fresh, sustainable ingredients prepared in the slow-food philosophy. Each restaurant quality dish sold also benefits the less privileged in Singapore, as part of the 'Buy-A-Meal-Give-A-Meal (BAMGAM)' charity movement. I last saw Kerby at the Singapore Night Festival 2014.

There was also a Vintage Car showcase in Zone 4. The Jaguar E-Type V12 Series 3 1973 was a British sports car, and its combination of sleek looks, high performance, and competitive pricing, established it as an icon of motoring, regularly making the lists of "World's Most Beautiful Cars".

The MG MGA 1600 Roadster 1960 was a British sports car, and represented a revolutionary design change for the brand. It's known for its sleek styling, low body, superb handling on the road, and the fact that drivers had to reach inside to unlatch the doors because there were no external door handles.

Booths for the Official Singapore Grand Prix Merchandise are spread throughout Circuit Park, and typically sell out each day. I personally find their items to be really expensive, not worth spending on.

The Singapore Airlines Pit Stop booth is prominent in Zone 4, as befits the title sponsor of the Singapore Grand Prix Formula 1 Night Race 2014. On display were their various aircraft seats, model airplanes, merchandise, and more.

Fringe activities keep the public entertained, such as the Pit Stop Challenge, which allows members of the public to time how quickly they can change the wheels on a Formula 1 race car. Roving British performance artists, The Living Topiary, made an appearance to spread their unique brand of whimsical fun and joy.

Urban contemporary girl duo Zsa+Claire, featuring guitarist Zsa Zsa Scorpion and violinist Claire Goh, showcased their unique, eclectic combination of classic and contemporary pop-rock. It's hard to properly classify the music of this Singapore duo, they're part pop, part rock, part folk, sometimes intense, intimate, simple, or quirky.

Zone 3 around the Marina Bay Floating Platform has a small selection of booths for convenience, including booths from Noise Cancelling Radio Headphones, Kith Cafe, The British Club Singapore, and more. But not much else to see or do.

Managed to get seats at the Turn 2 Suites & Grandstand, which offered a nice view of the race track, as the race cars had to slow down as they approached this turn. The seats were very cramped and uncomfortable, but I liked that the huge viewing screen was clearly visible.
