Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous
Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science &
Technology, Government of India is an emerging multidisciplinary institute
engaged in advanced research invites applications from Indian Nationals to join
in the following posts in DST sponsored project entitled “Investigation of the
gene expression and characterization of selected genes associated with
otosclerosis”.
1. Lab Technician: One Post
Fellowship: Rs. 10,000 per month (fixed). Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
with 60% aggregate marks in any branch of Life Sciences, Genetics, Biotechnology,
Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry are eligible to apply. Candidate
having research experience in the relevant field will be given preference. Age:
up to 28 years
2. Social/Field Worker: One Post
Salary: Rs. 8,000/- per month (fixed). Qualification: Matriculation
with one year of experience in laboratory/field work in molecular field. Age:
up to 28 years

positions are purely temporary and coterminus with the above project. The Only
short listed candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be paid for
attending the interview. The decision of the Director regarding selection of the candidates
will be final and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
