What has a neck like a giraffe, ears of a rabbit, and a piggy tail? A Girabbig! What? Never heard of a Girabbig? Well, in the world of Genetipetz every animal combination is a possibility!
Imagine what would happen if we lived in a world where we could combine the things that make us different and become stronger, smarter, cuter and better by drawing upon our differences. Genetipetz allow us to use our imaginations to create a whole new world of animal friends that couldn’t exist in the “real” world, but draw us closer together by celebrating what is different.

This is where you and your kids come in. Genetipetz is currently holding a designer contest where participants can let their imaginations run free. From now until September 30th, you can submit your drawings of what you think the perfect animal combination would be.
Winning designers will receive the first production version of their suggested pet for free and be inducted into the Genetipetz Designers Hall of Fame. Their new design will join the other three Genetipetz animal friends currently in production, including the Mooraffe, Zebugraphant and Snurtlegator. Winners will also see their toys featured at the 2014 Toy Fair in New York City.
How to Submit Your Design
Draw a picture of a mixed up Genetipetz pal, take a picture with your phone and email it to designcontest@genetipetz.com. If you win, Genetipetz will bring your design to life, making it into a super-soft stuffed animal. Enter as many times as you like before September 30th. Contest voting will open on August 1st. Designers 13 years and younger will need a parent to help them register their drawing.
