Sri Nityananda Trayodashi Mahotsava was celebrated at Hare Krishna Movement (HKM) Ahmedabad on February 9, 2017. The event was filled with a variety of festivities.
The Deities of Sri Sri Nitai-Gauranga were adorned in new attire and were offered 108 food preparations during Rajbhog. The evening celebrations began with the maha-abhisheka ceremony. Their Lordships received a grand abhisheka with panchamrita, fruit juices, varieties of flowers, sacred herbs, and many other auspicious items.
His Grace Jaganmohan Krishna Prabhu, President, HKM Ahmedabad enlightened the devotees on the glories of Lord Nityananda. Shayana- arati was offered to Their Lordships with a special song glorifying the mercy of Sri Nityananda Prabhu. Their Lordships also received an offering of 108 varieties of sweets, juices, savories, main course, etc.
The participants of Srila Prabhupada’s Book Marathon 2016 were felicitated for their sincere service of His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada. The pallakki utsava and tumultuous harinam sankirtana followed the felicitation ceremony. The festival concluded with a grand mahaprasadam feast for all.
