Lunchtime Rules in the Commons

1.    There are now two designated areas for eating: the tables between the hot lunch service and snacks areas          and the space next to the microwave kiosk.  The space above the stairways is not a lunch area.

2.    Remember to clean up your tables and push in your chairs.

3.    This level of the Commons is a no running area.  It’s a place to eat and chat with your friends.

4.    Remember to scrape your plates and return them to the appropriate place.

Lunchtime Reminder - Please remember that high school classes are happening during middle school lunchtime. Students should stay in the designated areas during lunch. These areas include the Commons and its surroundings, the areas near the middle school office, the basketball court near the Commons, the locker areas near J & K buildings, and intramural locations. Please do not play near the high school, elementary school or in the parking lots during lunch. We need to make sure that learning is not interrupted and that all students are safe.

MS Book Club: The first discussion meeting of the MS Book Club will be on Monday, October 7 at lunch-time.    Our first book is The Dark is Rising by Susan Cooper. We have multiple copies of the book so if you would like to join us in discussion, check out a copy at the library!  (Cupcakes to help feed the discussion)
