16th Tastefully Food & Beverage Expo 2016, Mid Valley Megamall
It's that time of year again, where everyone flocks to MidValley to grab some super bargains at the 16th Tastefully Food & Beverage Expo 2016. Happening over this weekend, today being the final day, I was there on their first day, Friday, and it was a blast! So much food, lots of bargain, and value for money offers. Check out below on some of the booths I managed to visit. Bear in mind there's over 300+ booths participating this year!

This year, the giant F&B manufacturer and distributor came in full force, taking up the most booths and space at the expo. F&N embraced the "one" concept, where all products under their roof is being featured, from the stable products to the new ones such as milk, fruit tea and many more. All the products went for a bargain price, so be sure to stock up on your evaporated milk, Nutri Soy, drinks, and all your necessities here.

OKK, the from Growth Well Industry Sdn Bhd from Johor Bahru, produces a wide range of vegetarian products, all without eggs inside. Not only are they vegetarian their products are Halal too, at least that's what I was told. Their products range from vegetable kidney flowers, vegetarian abalone, veg chili fish cak e and many more. What surprised me was their relatively in expensive pricing, with many going as low as RM10 per packet. You know how eating vegetarian food outside can get very expensive.

Cheese cakes and cheese tarts, two of my favourite noms, coupled with wonderfully baked cookies and we have a winner here! Wonderful Cake House, they are located inside most AEON's supermarket, offering a variety of flavours from Marble Cheese Cake, Choc Devil Cheese Cake, Green Tea Cheese Cake, Royal Chocolate Cheese Cake, New York Cheese Cake and also the Raspberry Crumble Cheese Cake. Now that's a mouthful. They have a promotion of purchasing the cheesecake for only RM 27.90 and 2 for RM 40.00 ( with complimentary 2 pcs of Cheese Tarts)

Offering some really good looking crispy puffs of different style and choices, we get to choose from vanilla , coffee, chocolate, chocolate banana, tiramisu, oreo and many more flavours. Glamour Crispy Puff utilizes Taiwan Japanese technology to produce their puffs, and many of it are being sold at a bargain price at the expo so do remember to check them out.

Inported quality nuts and dried fruits which won't break the bank, Nutty Lover aims to please the local market with their healthy products. Mainly imported from US, Australia and Europe, the nuts and dried fruits are naturally produced, with a variety on display from Brazil Nuts, Pecans, Macademia, Jumbo Golden Raisin, Walnuts, Pistachio, Figs and many more. Starting off as a Chinese restaurant serving steamed river patin in claypot-style, Guangxi-style braised pork and curry wild boar, Canton Kitchen which originated from Bukit Tinggi has expanded their business to four outlets in Klang Valley and Pahang. Showcased at their booths is their famed Bentong Ginger, both in its natural form, and powder form. Good stuff, even my mum sing praises of their ginger's medicinal values.

Lovers of everything Japanese would do good to check out the ZP Food Import & Export booth, where they have basically everything you will want and need in one spot. From snacks, to various food, imported Kit Kat, and many more, the booth did attract a lot of crowd. Malaysians do love Japanese products.

Assam laksa? My favourite! The laksa from D'Laksa was served piping hot at their booth, at a low price of only RM6 per bowl. Fragrant, yummylicious laksa with generous amounts of fish, the broth really tastes so good. Touted to be one of the best Laksa in JB and Singapore, this brand is coming to KL very soon in 2017.

PappaRich, yes the chain has come up with a wide range of coffee to the market. I'm impressed by their latest offerings which uses Stevia herbs to sweeten the coffee instead of usual sugar. My mum's impressed too! Now she can enjoy the 2 in 1 coffee from PappaRich without worry of the sugar content. 200-350 times sweeter than sugar, stevia is a 0-calories sweetener that is used in desserts and cakes. Must buy!
