IRVINE, CA (December 19, 2014): The Orange County Great Park Carousel will reopen Saturday, December 20 and will resume its regular operating schedule of Thursday through Sunday from 9 a.m. (10 a.m. Thursday and Friday) to 10 p.m.  The cost is $2 per single ride or $3 for an all-day pass.

The Carousel was closed to the public on August 28 due to a mechanical breakdown. A State-Qualified Safety Inspector and the State Department of Industrial Relations have certified the repairs and have approved the Carousel’s reopening.

Featuring hand-painted artwork inspired by vintage orange crate labels and Orange County scenes, the Great Park Carousel is a favorite for children of all ages.
