**Job Description:**

To assist, implement and evaluate corporate programs for the protection of tangible and intangible assets at Iron Mountain operating locations consistent with Iron Mountain Corporate Security Risk Management Program, Safety & Security policies, procedures and standards; conduct incident response and investigative services. Maintain strong alliances and alignment with a focus on providing ongoing support to our business stakeholders.

* Provide implementation direction/execution of security risk, alarm management measure effectiveness with a focus on overall improvement. Responsible for conducting / managing all aspects of both physical security risk assessments and integrated security model. Monitors operations to evaluate local program effectiveness from a policy, procedure and standards viewpoint.
* Escalation/triaging and support to address high risk items identified during third party integrity audits and/or inspections
* Provide ongoing Security Alarm Management program support and oversight.
* Support the Security Risk Assessment (SRA) process by conducting strategic SRA’s, and working with owning management to prioritize, plan or remediating identified risks and inputting data within defined timelines
* Provide leadership under the Integrated Security Model (ISM). Work with field based Security Advocates to identify and reduce risks, drive security compliance and promote strong life Safety and Security awareness in the workforce.
* Provides reports to management and the Director Security North America to help ensure programs remain viable and consistent with enterprise requirements as well as responsive to local needs.
* Provides implementation direction and coordination of security and asset protection programs for operational facilities. Knowledgeable in applying physical security risk management practices and execute against corporate security plan including enterprise systems integration. Knowledge of physical security systems, IP technologies and systems integration capabilities.
* Responsible to plan/execution of NA security initiatives
* Establish training, communication plans and oversight on systems integration at territory and market levels.
* Provide SME training/support for all programs
* Maintain accurate/on time reporting in our Corporate data base Compass and our GSRS NA tasks
* Manage the security clearance and controlled goods program, provide direction to administrative personnel and execute program requirements.
* Support Director Security, North America through execution of identified strategic CAPEX projects and prioritizing, vetting and execution of tactical/break fix projects following a risk based approach.
* Assist GSRS and other functional partners (e.g., Real Estate, Investigations, Business Continuity) perform response and investigative services duties, at the direction of the Director Security, North America.

**Job Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree in related field – preferred.
* Professional designation or physical security designation from ASIS International or similar professional organization is preferred.
* Possess an understanding of industrial security and life safety issues, have a general understanding of fire suppression systems, be able to prepare and review bid specifications for security systems and assist with fire system reviews and interpret responses.
* Ability to obtain access under the requirements for Canadian and International Industrial Security Directorate, CIISD certification for Iron Mountain Canadian sites.
* Must possess familiarity with the*Canadian*Industrial Security Manual (ISM).
* Computer literate, able to create and manipulate spreadsheet and database information, able to understand basic operation of security related systems.
* Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrate skills and knowledge to assist in direct customer facing activities including customer presentations, negotiations, requests for proposals and security audits.
* Bilingualism in English & French – is an asset but not required.

**Other qualifications:**
Candidate must be able to achieve highest level of Canadian Gov. Security Clearance,*NATO Security Clearance. Functional knowledge of the Canadian Industrial Security Manual (ISM) or have the ability gain knowledge within reasonable timeframe. This position will have direct oversight of both personnel security clearance and facility security clearance program for Canada.*
