Suffolk’s latest singing sensation Jade Mayjean Peters will be starring in her own concert in Ipswich’s Corn Exchange in September.

News of the event was announced by Ipswich Borough Council as Jade prepares for the biggest evening of her life this weekend during the latest round of BBC’s “The Voice”, in which she forms part of Team Kylie.

Jade, a former Northgate High School pupil,  is going from strength to strength and has has a growing fan base in her home town. Hundreds of fans turned up at Debenhams for an autograph signing session and a concert in Christchurch Park arranged by the Borough Council.

Culture portfolio-holder Bryony Rudkin was thrilled that 21 year-old Jade from Rushmere had signed up for the concert on Saturday 6th September at 7.30pm. “She has shown that she is the next singing sensation from this area and she has a fabulous voice. I am sure many fans will welcome the opportunity to see her at the Corn Exchange.”

Tickets go on sale tomorrow at www.ipswichregent.com, at the Tourist Information Centre or on 01473 433100. Supporting acts will be announced later.

£12 (£11 plus £1 booking fee)

£10 (£9 plus £1 booking fee) for concessions OAP, students and children over 14

£6 (£5 plus £1 booking fee) for children under 14 accompanied by an adult.
