Real estate professionals are counting on Malaysians to cast their votes for their most preferred real estate agent or negotiators in the inaugural iProperty.com Malaysia’s Agent Advertising Awards (AAA) 2015.
Organised by the country’s No.1 online property website, iProperty.com Malaysia, the awards is said to be the highest accolades to be awarded to real estate agencies and professionals.
Shedding light on the awards, iProperty Group’s Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Georg Chmiel, said that iProperty.com Malaysia is excited to organise its inaugural Agent Advertising Awards 2015.
He added that last year the company had organised its first iProperty.com People’s Choice Awards (PCA) and that was to pay due recognition to property developers for their outstanding developments in the country. The month long campaign attracted more than 10,000 votes from Malaysians and 10 developers were recognised and awarded the highest recognition as it was purely from a consumer perspective.
“Following the success of the PCA, it was only befitting that we also pay tribute to real estate professionals and agencies as they are also one of the major players in the property market. The awards provide us with a platform to engage with consumers and to give them the opportunity to vote for their most preferred real estate professionals in four out of the 18 categories set. The remaining 14 categories are solely judged by statistics and a panel of judges. At the end of the day, it is the property buyers, sellers and investors that have the most interaction with real estate agents and agencies so, it was only apt that they play a part in choosing the winners,” said Chmiel.
He explained that the four categories that consumers can cast their votes on will also be reviewed and judged by statistics on iProperty.com Malaysia and also by a panel of judges. To ensure that the entire process is properly done, a panel of auditors have also been appointed to ensure transparency and authenticity.

“The response we received from real estate agencies and professionals was encouraging and after reviewing and scrutinising over 100 submissions, only 58 entries were shortlisted. The power to help pick the best real estate professionals in 4 out of the 18 categories now lie in the hands of the general public,” added Chmiel.
According to Chmiel, prior to inviting the general public to vote, the team internally reviewed and scrutinised each of the entries before shortlisting the finalists. After which, a panel of highly acclaimed judges comprising ofHo Chin Soon, Managing Director of Ho Chin Soon Research; Dato’ Terry Ong, Chief Executive Officer of Wealth Mastery Academy and Dato’ Soo Kai Chee, Sales & Marketing Director of MCT Bhd and himself, will come together and review and select the winners.
“We encourage all Malaysians to cast their votes for their most preferred real estate agents or negotiators in the country. You are the property buyer, seller and even the investor that engages the services of these real estate professionals to help you sell your home or even purchase that dream property, so make your vote count and jointly, let’s celebrate them. Winners will be celebrated at a special gala night ceremony held at the One World Hotel on Tuesday, 16th June 2015.
