Now that Christmas is almost upon us people are starting to do their crazy shopping sprees to get everyone that certain gift. From Black Friday all the way to Christmas Eve friends and family will be scrambling to get presents, though when you’re having a hard time to decide what you want or what to get people it can be rather hard to get it right. With gaming it isn’t as simple, people have differing opinions and likes and if you’re out of that group it can be hard to find a good game.

Here is where this list comes into play, games, bundles and anything game related you can get for your child, sibling or other relative that games. With Christmas there are also a ton of Bundles to get at cheaper prices.

*Sites and prices shown are from the time of writing, they are subject to change, E.G Availability, Deals, Bundles etc.

PlayStation:

One of the best deals you can get on PS3 is Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, containing 2 whole remastered games with an added cutscene movie it is definitely a steal at around £25. There is also a bundle for both 1.5 and 2.5 with some added goodies for around £70, which isn’t good right now but keep an eye out for deals nearer Christmas. Both games are worth getting however as the Kingdom Heart Series is a beloved game by fans and with Kingdom Hearts 3 on the Horizon it is a great time to get into it.

Xbox:

If a real shooter is what people are looking for, Halo: The Master Chief Collection is another good bundle to buy, with all 4 main Halo games in one collection. Sunset Overdrive is another game to look out for, with its colourful art style with a gameplay that feels like a mashup of Dead Rising and something happier.

Cross-Platform: (Besides Nintendo)

With November just passing both Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age: Inquisition have been released, with both games catering to a majority of people. Both being long standing Series you might want to check to see if the person you’re buying them for are fans of the series. These 2 games have been released on all consoles, bar the Nintendo ones, so they are pretty open to any buyer. If those two games don’t tickle your fancy there is also Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, a Tolkien masterpiece to some and a train wreck for others but I quite enjoyed it.

Dragon Age: Inquisition – £39 – £45~

Wii U:

Hyrule Warriors is one of the first Hack and Slash game in the style of Dynasty Warriors and has been received rather well by fans and newcomers alike. If a slasher isn’t your taste then how about some shooting action similar to Devil May Cry, with Bayonetta 2 and her 4 pistol action and Hair Demons she is sure to satisfy plenty of gamers.

PC:

With Steam being an ever godly presence you can expect to see many a deal pop up as Christmas draws nearer and nearer. Check out people’s wish lists and keep an eye on their chosen games as they could go as low as 75% off. Besides their Wish lists I have a few recommendations as well. Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas are great Adventure games and are quick to go on offer, the same goes for the Final Fantasy Games currently on Steam and with the third game on its way The Witcher series is also a good one to keep an eye on.
