Paintings and prints are wonderful, but mirrors bring sparkle and shine, along with a sense of depth. I was rearranging the furniture in my home (as one does regularly, right?) and I realized that while I’ve collected several pieces of art that I love, I have very few mirrors. Thus, you are now the beneficiary of my long, window-shopping mirror hunt! Here are several favorites that I came across during my search.

The addition of a little hoop on the top of this round mirror is a nice touch.
The large center mirror is clear, but the decorative outer edge is made of subtly antiqued, mirror glass.
This is as much sculpture as it is a mirror, and it comes in brass or silver.
Lucite and brass! Imagine how gorgeous this would be with the wall color behind showing through.
Note the scale of this one. It’s 40″ in diameter! Such a statement maker.
These are small, but perfect mixed in with other pieces or tucked away in a little corner nook.
A piece like this with beautiful inlay detailing looks great mixed with more minimal furnishings.
A nice update on the starburst mirror trend.

Trendy, faceted geometry gets a twist with an old-fashioned antiqued finish.
Another great alternative to the ubiquitous starburst mirrors we’ve all seen a million times. This is made of wood that has been painted to mimic porcupine quills.
Sometimes you just need a big, heavy iron mirror to anchor things. This may be the one for you.
The tortoise finish on this bamboo mirror would bring a lot of warmth to a room.
Use this giant mirror in a room in need of some architectural interest.
A small mirror with intricately carved pine is a lovely choice.
This is a love it or hate it kind of mirror. (I’m on the “love it” team.)
On trend with an octagonal shape, but more timeless than most. A great choice above a dresser.
Which mirror (or mirrors!) would you love to see hanging in your home?
