Over the next few weeks we will be introducing you to our prestigious judging panel. This hand-picked selection of experts will judge the shortlists in each category and have the final decision on the award winners. The first judge to meet is Creative Director and Co- Founder of Amara, Sam Hood.
Sam knows exactly what works and what doesn’t.Her innate styling talent and ability to stay ahead of trends was nurtured by a retail fashion career before moving into the world of interiors after being inspired by a home renovation project, leading to the inception of Amara. Now entering its 10th year, Amara was founded on Sam’s aesthetic know-how which has led to partnerships with the world’s most luxurious brands and ensured success at every turn for the company.
As an Interior Blog Awards Judge Sam will be looking for engaging content, original ideas and of course, spot on style within each category short list. We caught up with her to see what she had to say…
The launch of the first Amara Interior Blog Awards have been a very exciting challenge for us here at Amara. We understand that in this day and age, interior bloggers are key to the interior design industry and feel it is time to fully acknowledge this. I can’t wait to see the talent set to arise from the awards. What I have seen so far has been outstanding and we are extremely excited to be able to commend existing and upcoming bloggers for their contributions to the industry.
