Winter temperatures are looming in the future along with a barrage of holiday music and events.

But not this weekend.

The first November weekend in Hampton Roads is for football, amazing food, and facial hair. There are so many events happening in all seven cities that you have no excuse to stay inside this weekend, even with rain in the forecast on Saturday.

NekoCon 18 is a Japanese anime convention features everything from cosplay to LARP (live actions role playing), various panels, workshops and vendors. The Japanese convention will also offer karaoke contests, art shows and nightly dances.
