Downtown Suffolk is beginning to look a lot like Christmas. More than 60 talented art students from Suffolk Public Schools took part in “Painting the Town.”
The program allows elementary through high school students to paint windows at several businesses downtown with holiday themes. 2016’s theme is “Holidays in Toyland.”
City and school officials involved hope to make the season bright for employees and shoppers, just in time for the Suffolk holiday parade on Saturday.
