We are now accepting entries for the 2016 Ad-to-Action Awards which seeks to showcase new ideas, stimulate thinking and celebrate the best location-based marketing and commerce offerings that drive local actions (calls, clicks, store visits). Entries will be judged on innovation, usability, execution and implementation, potential for ROI and solution design.

Doing the judging is a diverse panel of industry leaders, experts and analysts from across the “local” space, responsible for evaluating entries and selecting winners. The judges are:

Steven Aldrich, Senior Vice President, Applications, GoDaddy: It’s Steven’s job to set and execute the company’s vision of providing elegant, end-to-end technology solutions for GoDaddy’s 13 million small business customers. He also heads up the Online Bookkeeping and WorkSpace teams.

Christine Benson, Senior Vice President, Media, iCrossing: Knowing the future was in digital media, Christine bought her first banner placement on Hotwired in 1995. Today, as SVP of Media, she leads iCrossing’s U.S. media group, including strategy, SEM, display, paid social, ad operations and the digital media insight teams.

Dax Brady-Sheehan, Head of Traditional Media, Google: Dax Brady-Sheehan is the Head of Traditional Media with Google Channel Sales, where he oversees Google’s strategic relationships with Traditional Media premier partners specializing in serving the small and medium business market. Prior to joining Google, Dax worked at Gannett and Hearst, where he held various Digital leadership roles.

Ellen Brezniak, SVP, Customer Operations, Constant Contact: Ellen has been at Constant Contact® since September 2006. After leading the product strategy team to bring four new products to market, Ellen shifted her focus to customer operations in 2012, overseeing Constant Contact’s award-winning customer support team and other organizations focused on delivering customer success.

Grace Chan, VP Product, Wanderful Media: As vice president of product, Grace Chan leads the product and design team at Wanderful Media. Wanderful Media owns and operates the Find&Save shopping app, FindnSave.com, the CoffeeTable retail catalog app, the Wanderful Mobile Network and the Wanderful Regional Network. Previously, Grace was director of Merchant Monetization at MerchantCircle (acquired by Reply!).

Christy Cooper, Manager, Partner Management, Facebook: Christy Cooper leads SMB Partnerships at Facebook. Her teams focus on identifying and growing key partners across the agency and SMB reseller eco-systems. Prior to joining Facebook, Christy was an Enterprise Account Executive focused on solution based selling to Fortune 500 companies at Salesforce.com and Yahoo!

Elnora Cunningham, Director Local Search, U-Haul: Elnora Cunningham joined U-Haul International in April of 2002 to lead the company’s print and online advertising efforts. She began her career at Qwest as a commodity manager where she spent years writing and negotiating national vendor contracts in technology, training, and travel.

Macy English, VP of Sales & Marketing, SocialCentiv: Macy English is the VP of Sales & Marketing at SocialCentiv and the Social Media Chair of the American Advertising Federation Dallas. She has an extensive background in social media and digital advertising having worked for leading publishers including The Dallas Morning News and Gannett and specializes in digital direct response solutions for businesses nationwide.

Felicia Gardner, Bing Agency Lead, Microsoft: Felicia is a Bing Agency Lead at Microsoft, responsible for driving search agency engagement. Felicia drives the strategic relationships and agency level Bing investments across key advertising partners. Her portfolio of business accounts for $400MM+ in annual revenue.

Eric Groves, CEO, Alignable: Eric Groves is CEO and co-founder of Alignable (alignable.com). Alignable provides small business owners with a free place online to gather, make connections, collaborate, and work together to find answers to challenges and paths to new customers. Prior to co-founding Alignable, Eric was SVP Sales & Business Development at Constant Contact for 10½ years where he led the company’s go to market efforts growing the business from start-up stage to 400,000 customers and $200MM in revenue.

Asif Khan, Founder & President, LBMA: A proud Canadian, Asif is a renowned global speaker, author and serial entrepreneur. He is currently focused on working as a consultant and venture capitalist to the location-based marketing services community. In support of this, Asif recently formed the Location Based Marketing Association.

Matt Lewis, GM, Partner Growth, Pinterest: Matt Lewis is the Head of Partner Growth at Pinterest. His team focuses on growing the number of businesses and advertisers on Pinterest. Matt joined Pinterest in 2013 and has led teams in operations, marketing and product.

Allison Lowrie, Chief Marketing Officer, HomeAdvisor: Allison Lowrie joined HomeAdvisor in 2010 and was named Chief Marketing Officer in 2015. Lowrie specializes in brand management, customer acquisition, communications and marketing intelligence. Prior to joining HomeAdvisor, Lowrie acted as the Director of Advertising Products at Cars.com for nearly six years.

Lauren Moores, Vice President Strategy, Dstillery: Lauren Moores is the mobility and cross-channel data guru at Dstillery with over 20 years experience in different information and technology industries. As VP Strategy, she focuses on driving growth through evangelism, meeting with clients and partners and connecting to thought leaders in data and technology.

Jed Nachman, SVP of Global Sales, Yelp: Jed joined Yelp in 2007 to lead the company’s sales team. As Senior Vice President of Revenue, he is responsible for leading the rapidly growing sales, client services, and revenue operations groups, which span across three offices in the US. Prior to Yelp, Jed spent seven years in senior sales roles for Yahoo! HotJobs, most recently as Director of Corporate Sales for the Western Region.

Eric Nielsen, CMO, Moasis: Eric Nielsen is the Chief Marketing Officer for Moasis Global and General Manager for mFlyer, Moasis’ small business product. Eric joined Moasis in 2014 following an 18 year career with Google and American Express where he held numerous senior global marketing and general management roles with depth in launching and developing high growth businesses.

Marc Poirier, CEO, Acquisio: Marc Poirier is an SEM expert, a thought leader, and a devoted dad (to twins!). Named one of the top 25 most influential PPC experts, he’s a frequent speaker at industry events, like SMX and Ad:Tech, and contributes bylines to top marketing publications including Advertising Age, AdWeek and more.

Jason Tabeling, GVP, Media, Razorfish: Named top 40 under 40 digital marketer by DMNews in 2012, Jason has created and implemented digital marketing strategies for clients in financial services, retail, health care and hospitality. He has also developed detailed analysis, data models and strategic frameworks to engage digital media in all online marketing tactics to be successful in both branded, and direct response programs.

There is no fee for entry and the competition is open to all media, technology, marketing and advertising providers. Categories include: Presence Management, Verticals & Marketplaces, Attribution & Analytics, Local Commerce Services, Sales & Marketing Automation, Mobile, Social & Reputation Management, Display & Video, Best Local Ad Campaign and Best Ad Creative.
