J-Pop Summit, the annual celebration of all things Japanese — from fashion and pop culture to food and drink — returns to Fort Mason’s Festival Pavilion on July 23-24.

Following up on last year’s debut, the Sake Summit will return, this year featuring seven different sake producers, including local sake micro-brewery Sequoia Sake, who will offer tastings of their wares ($10/person; 21+).

A new addition to the event this year is the Ramen Summit.

San Francisco’s Orenchi Beyond will be heading up the list of ramen vendors, that includes local shops Iza Ramen, Ramen Taka. Also on-hand, Japan’s Hinodeya Ramen and New York’s Naruto Ramen, both of which will be making their SF debut. Ramen will be $8/bowl.

In addition to plenty of Japanese snacks inside the pavilion, outside there will be a Japanese soul food park that will feature a number of different eats, including Japanese curry truck, JapaCurry, takoyaki from Hirotako, sushi-sandwiches from Shige Sushi, sushi rolls and burritos from We Sushi, as well as grilled meat and vegetable skewers from Kushi Yaki Kuishinbo. On the sweet side, there will be Japanese-style crepes from J-Shack and tapioca drinks from Wapioka.

More goodies will be added in the coming weeks, which you can check out by clicking here to see the full list of food and drink options at the festival.
