Walking Dead producer Gale Ann Hurd provided some spoilers when she spoke with Us Magazine recently. She had a lot to say about the villain of all villains, Negan, and what he will mean to the show. We can’t wait until he bursts on the scene.
The rest of this article will include spoilers. Stop reading now if you don’t want to be spoiled.
Walking Dead Season 6 spoilers have often included speculation about Negan. We know he’s notoriously evil, and now we have some confirmation from one of the producers, Gale Ann Hurd, on what we can expect from this yet-to-be-seen villain.
The graphic novels upon which The Walking Dead is based include Negan, so readers already know some spoilers and what the future holds for Rick and the gang when he comes into their lives. Or do they? Not so fast. The AMC hit The Walking Dead has not strictly followed the graphic novels so anything is possible. Regarding spoilers that readers already know and the Negan viewers will see on the screen, Hurd said,
“Anyone who loves Negan from the comic books will literally be cheering. They won’t be able to sit down at home or wherever they are. I think they’ll stand up and cheer.”

Hurd is also thrilled with the choice of Jeffrey Dean Morgan to play The Walking Dead‘s most treacherous villain.
“He’s a completely different kind of character than we’ve had in the past, and honestly, I cannot imagine someone more perfect than Jeffrey Dean Morgan to bring him to life. [Negan is] formidable, but he’s incredibly charismatic, and he acknowledges who he is and what he expects of people.”
Sounds like a character that Walking Dead fans will love. Hurd gave a couple of spoilers when she said that Negan will change everything. He “changes the whole dynamic on the show” according to Hurd and he will be around for Season 7, in fact he’ll appear in Season 7 a lot. There was one Walking Dead spoiler she wasn’t willing to spill though – who’s going to die?
“no character is safe” and says cryptically, “It’s a brutal world out there.”
Oh well, didn’t hurt to ask.
The Walking Dead‘s most reliable spoiler site, The Spoiling Dead, is reporting that the finale will air on April 3 and will last 90 minutes. Chris Hardwick is expected to confirm this on tonight’s Talking Dead, the show that follows The Walking Dead and includes a discussion of that night’s episode.
Thoughts on last night's intense episode? #TheWalkingDead

Things are about to get very dark on The Walking Dead. And Forbes provided their own spoiler when they reported that there may be some events coming up that prove to be unfilmable. In fact, these spoilers would take place in Season 7 and has to do with the introduction of two characters from the comics, following the introduction of Negan, an event that they also acknowledge will have plenty of violence on its own.
This Walking Dead spoiler has to do with the introduction of Ezekiel and Shiva. Ezekiel is “King Ezekiel” and he rules a kingdom that’s about the same size as Negan’s Hilltop. This Walking Dead character and his followers speak old English and ride around on horses. Ezekiel has a pet tiger, Shiva, he has raised from birth. Shiva is very protective of Ezekiel. Walking Dead fans don’t need a spoiler to imagine what a pet tiger like this is capable of in the zombie apocalypse world. We do wonder, though, how this would be accomplished in reality. Would they use a real tiger? There are a million issues related to that, and we’re not sure how AMC would deal with them all.
The Walking Dead is currently in Season 6 and can be seen Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET.
