DIA DE LOS TOADIES

Dia De Los ToadiesFor the second year in a row, Toadies are bringing their annual music festival back to their hometown of Fort Worth for two nights of non-stop rock ‘n’ roll on September 12th and 13th. Held on the banks of the Trinity River at Panther Island Pavilion, the seventh annual Dia De Los Toadies will continue its tradition of featuring Texas artists by showcasing some of the states greatest acts including: Dallas’ own country-rock legends, Old 97s and front man Rhett Miller, Austin’s three-piece rock trio, Ume; Fort Worth blues rockers, Quaker City Nighthawks; the reunited Dallas quintet, Pleasant Grove; roots rockers, Somebody’s Darling; Austin’s trio of pre-teen rockers, Residual Kid; Fort Worth’s resident garage rockers, The Longshots; and finally, funky town synth-punkers, Blank-Men.

Not only will this year’s festival feature the best in Texas music, but it will also allow fans to experience the best food trucks that Dallas/Fort Worth has to offer. This year’s food truck lineup consists of wood fired pizza by Bellatrino, So-Cal Tacos, Texas BBQ by Holy Smokes, Lee’s Grilled Cheese, Indo-Chinese cuisine from Bombay Street Food, sandwiches by The Butcher’s Son and for dessert, ice cream by Gypsy Scoops, with more trucks to be announced! Along with the best culinary food truck treats, the festival will also feature a beach area where fans can cool off by taking a swim or participating in tubing and paddleboard during the show.
