With the release of her newest record on the horizon, Julia Holter is excited to announce the expansion of her North American tour. Extending her previously announced September tour, Julia will be performing new dates in Minneapolis, Chicago, Columbus, Brooklyn, and Washington D.C. Full tour dates above.

Loud City Song is Holter’s first album recorded in a professional studio, and it both continues and furthers the singular vision of its predecessors, 2011’s debut Tragedy and last year’s Ekstasis, as she experiments with intricate arrangements of words and pop melodies to build both an individual collection of songs as well as one unified story — a “song” of songs.
Loud City Song will be available on CD, Double LP and digitally and is available to pre-order from Domino now. Pre-orders of the album will receive an instant mp3 download of “In The Green Wild.”
