Cyber crime police arrested seven persons for job fraud case

Hyderabad, March 7 : The Cyber Crime Police of Cyberabad arrested seven accused namely Vipin Kumar @ Mohit Singh (32) a Businessmen, Sanoo Singh @ Ajay both (27) M Tech student both are resident of Noida , Sandeep Kumar Das @ Sandeep (28) an Wipro employee R/o Gurgaon; for issuing fake Wipro Technologies offer letters to 10 innocent unemployed youth of Andhra Pradesh; while Shaik Bibi Hajra @ Joya Khan R/o Toli Chowki, Hyderabad; Bashyam Anil Kumar, R/o. Ramnagar, Chandi Vignesh Shukla, r/o. Keesara; and Kakarlamudi Pramod Kumar, R/o. Nagole, Hyderabad; were arrested for referring (10) job aspirants to Delhi for interviews and there by cheated them to a tune of Rs. 15 lakhs.

On Feb 20, 2014 received a complaint from S. Varun age (22) an Student R/o KPHB Colony, Cyberabad in which he stated that he got a phone contact of a person name Joya Akthar with mobile from Suresh with mobile no who is father of colleagues friend. Immediately he contacted Joya Akthar R/o Tolichowki who made him to believe that she can provide a job in Wipro Company and referred him to a person as Mohit Singh r/o Delhi with mobile no and the complainant contacted him. The complainant went to Delhi on Jan 1, 2014 contacted Mohit over telephone who, on Jan 10, 2014 took him to Wipro Campus located at Udhyog Vihar, Gurgaon and arranged for an interview in the Wipro Campus. The complainant was intraduced to Sandeep as HR in Wipro Technologies. After the interview the complainant was given an offer letter where he paid Rs.75,000 to Mohit. There after the complainant return to Hyderabad and deposited total Rs.85,000 in the bank account given by Joya with A/c No. 32609724211 (of Ravi Kumar Avvaru, SBI, Proddutur Branch, Kadapa). The complainant also referred his friends P. Sree Rahul (Rs.1.5 lakhs), S. Anil Kumar (Rs.1.5 lakhs) who also paid the amounts. Subsequently he came to know that, the offer letter was fake. He requested for taking necessary action. Basing on the above complaint police registered a case Under section 419, 420 IPC & Sec. 66 (C&D) I.T. Act-2000 and investigated into.

During the course of investigation as per the instructions of Sri. C.V. Anand, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad a team consisting of one Inspector, 2 SI’s and staff were sent to New Delhi for apprehending the accused under supervision of Smt. K. Janaki Sharmila, Addl DCP, Crimes, Cyberabad and Sri. D. Pratap Reddy, ACP, Cyber Crime PS, Cyberabad.

The deputed team arrested the following accused at New Delhi on March 3, 2014. Vipin Kumar @ Mohit Singh R/o. Noida N/o Bijnou UP and recovered Rs.1.9 lakhs cash, SBI ATM/Debit Card, Voter lD Card and Two mobile phones, Sanoo Singh s/o Harichander Singh, R/o Noida N/o Deoria, UP and recovered Rs.10, 000 PAN Card and Two mobile phones and Sandeep Kumar Das R/o Gurgaon, N/o Jameshedpur, Jarkhand and recovered Rs 20,000 Voter ID Card, and Two ATM/Debit Cards.

The arrested accused were produced before Chief Metropolitan Megistrate, SAKET (SE), NEW DELHI and a ‘Transit Warrant’ was obtained. They will be produced before Hon’ble XVI M.M,Kukatpally, Cyberabad at Miyapur, for judicial remand. In continuation of arrests made at Delhi, the Cyber Crime Police took into custody on March 7, the kingpin: Shaik Bibi Hajra @ Joya Khan, R/o. Toli Chowki, Hyderabad and three others namely: Bashyam Anil Kumar R/o. Ramnagar, Chandi Vignesh Shukla R/o. Keesara, and Kakarlamudi Pramod Kumar R/o. Nagole for luring the innocent jobless youth and sending them on the pretext of providing software jobs in Wipro Techonolgies, Gurgaon. The Police seized: 1. Cash of Rs. – from Joya Khan along with ICICI bank ATM card, Voter-id card and a laptop. (2) Cash of Rs. 1, 67,000, Two PAN cards & Three ATM cards from Bashyam Anil Kumar, (3) Cash of Rs. 32,000 from Chandi Vignesh Shukla along with a PAN card (4) Cash of Rs. 50,000 from Kakarlamudi Promod Kumar and ATM card of A Ravi Kumar, as material evidence. Total amount of Rs.4,69,000 was recovered from all the seven accused arrested.

During the investigation, it is revealed that, Shaik Bibi Hajra @ Joya Khan of Tolichowki, Hyderabad has been working as HR Manager, AZVI Technologies, Ram Nagar, Hyderabad. The said consultancy was established by Anil Kumar and Vignesh Sukla with a motive to place unemployed youth in software companies. The said Joya Khan used to obtain the database of unemployed youth from various job portals and call them over mobile phone with an offer of backdoor employment in various MNC’s such as Wipro Technologies, ONGC, Tech Mahindra and L&T etc. After luring the unemployed youth of job offer Joya Khan informs Mohit Singh @ Vipin Kumar about the number of candidates being sent and their details. Mohit Singh @ Vipin Kumar and Ajay @ Sanoo Singh intern in coordination with another person takes the victims to Sandeep Kumar Das. The said Sandeep Kumar Das who is an Wipro Technologies, Gurgaon branch takes the victims inside the campus and conducts a mock interview and issues fake offer letter along with Vipin Kumar and collects 50% of the share amounts while rest of the 50% is paid to Joya Khan through bank accounts and shared as per their understanding.

The unemployed youth are advised to be cautious while responding to fake job offer calls and advertisements in job sites which offer jobs in backdoor method, charging huge money.

Case is investigated by Sri. S. Jayaram, Inspector of Police with the assistance of SIs Sri. M. Mahipal Reddy and K. Srinivas of Cyber Crime PS under supervision of Smt. K. Janaki Sharmila, Addl DCP-Crimes, Cyberabad and Sri. D. Pratap Reddy, ACP, Cyber Crime PS, Cyberabad.

Harassment drives women to suicide

Hyderabad, March 7 : A 45-year-old Housewife committed suicide by consuming unknown poison at her residence in Risala Qursheed Jahi of Musheerabad.

According to Chikkadpally police, the deceased Ashraf Begum W/o Jalaluddin committed suicide by consuming unknown poison on Thursday evening hours immediately shifted to Gandhi hospital for treatment where she died on Friday early hours.

Ashraf Begum was allegedly being mentally and physically harassed by her husband Jalaluddin for additional dowry for last few years, The relatives of the woman told the police that Jalaluddin harassed her for additional dowry due to which she was taken extreme step of suicide.

Chikkadpally Police has been registered a case against Jalaluddin and are investigating. Dead body shifted to Gandhi Hospital Mortuary for postmortem, after autopsy deceased body handed over to her relatives, Case is under investigation.

One killed in road accident

Hyderabad, March 7 : A 28 year old Centring labour contractor killed in road accident when the bike he was riding hit by a RTC Bus on Thursday night hours.

According to Rajendra Nagar police, the accident occurred on Thursday night hours when the deceased Mohammed Abdul Basith (28) a Centring Labour Contractor S/o Mohammed Abdul Bari R/o Raidurgam going on motor cycle when he was reached near A G College gate suddenly one speeding RTC Bus hit due to which he received multiple injuries immediately shifted to Trident Hospital where doctors declared brought dead.

Rajendra Nagar police registered a case under section 304 A and dead body shifted to OGH Mortuary for postmortem and began investigation.

Five held for attempting to kill a offender

Hyderabad, March 7 : Kulsumpura police arrested five persons who are attempting to kill a offender on March 4.

According to ACP Goshamahal division K Ram Bhoopal Rao, On March 4 Shaik Ghouse along with his friends Ibrahim, Rafeeq, Haroon, Javed and others were playing cards on the bed of Musi River near Asad Baba Nagar of Kishanbagh, Aslam Khan noticed and he called his friends Nayaab, Mubeen, Dastagiri @ Dattu And Azam Khan to his house. All are planned together to eliminate Shaik Ghouse today at any cost and they all are gone to asad baba nagar as per their plan Aslam, Nayaab and Mubeen went near to Ghouse and intentionally forcibly snatched the playing cards from the hands of Ghouse and pick up quarrel with him, threatened to eliminate him. In the meantime Ibrahim, Rafeeq and others intervened and separated them and sent to Aslam and others from there.

After some time all of them took swords and knives from Aslam and gone to Ghouse at Asad Baba Nagar and suddenly Aslam attacked on Ghouse with a sword. In the act of rescuing himself , the sword inflicted injury on his left cheek. Immediately Ibrahim and Rafeeq caught hold Aslam and asked Ghouse to run away from there and while Ghouse was fleeing from there, Azam Nayab, Mubeen and Dastagiri ran after him, for a distance attacked on him with swords and knives indiscriminately by shouting in Urdu as Aaj Tere Ku khatam kar denge (today we will kill you). Mean while Ghouse escaped from there and hide himself in an auto trolley. After the departure of Aslam and his henchmen Rafiq informed to police control room. After some time the police reached the spot and shifted the injured to OGH where Ghouse is admitted and undergoing treatment. Kulsumpura police registered a case under sections 120 (B), 147, 148, 307 r/w 149 IPC, Section 25 (1) (a) Arms Act of kulsumpura ps and began investigating.

Police said Ghouse, Ahmed Khan @ Aslam, Nayaab and Dastagiri are the habitual offenders, having arrested by bahadurpura police and Rajendranagar police in various cases. About one year back Aslam and Nayaab were arrested by Bahadurpura police as per the confession of Shaik Ghouse for their involvement in property offences. After releasing from jail, Aslam and Nayaab developed grudge on Ghouse for confession their names before the police. They decided to eliminate Ghouse and expressed their intention with Aslam brother Azam and their friends Nayaab, Dastagiri and Mubeen for which they also agreed to help them and they all are waiting for a time to execute their plan. Today Kulsumpura police arrested five persons who are attempting to kill a fellow offender. Kulsumpura Inspector R Karan Kumar said.

Harassment drives house wife to suicide

Hyderabad, March 7 : A 25-year-old house wife died of burn injuries which she suffered after setting herself ablaze at her residence in Keesaram Shabad of Ranga Reddy District.

According to Shabad police, the deceased Ch Rajni W/o Rajender Reddy, had allegedly set ablaze on Feb 24. She was admitted to the Osmania Hospital where she died on Thursday night Morning.

On Feb 24 deceased allegedly being mentally and physically harassed by her husband Rajender Reddy for petty issues for last few months, deceased taking extreme step committed suicide set ablaze herself after quarreled, Immediately rushed to the OGH where she was died while undergoing treatment on Thursday night hours.

Shabad Police has been registered a case under section 304 B against Rajender and began investigation.

Missing student body found from suspicious circumstances

Hyderabad, March 7 : The Alwal police on Friday found a body of a second class student who went missing from his school since March 3.

The deceased Syed Mazher (10) a Second class Govt.school student S/o Syed Ismail R/o Hasmatpet missing from his school since March 3. His body was found from a tree on Friday early hours in the limits of Alwal ps.

Police suspect, On March 3 after completing his school deceased went to Alwal for plucking tamarind from a tree and he was accidentally fell down from a tree due to which he received head injury and died on the spot.

Alwal police registered a case of suspicious death and dead body shifted to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for autopsy and began investigation. Inspector Alwal S V Hari Krishna said.
