India 68th Republic Day Celebrations

India celebrates its 68th Republic Day today at Rajpath in Delhi. From the year 1950 when constitution was framed after the Independence it is being celebrated. Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India took oath on this day.

This year Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is guest of honour. Prime Minister Narendra Modi received him personally at the airport.

There is a close partnership between two nations. Indian and UAE had been signed 13 important agreements.

UAE Army’s 149 soldiers and band members to take part for the first time in 68th Republic Day Parade on Rajpath

Parade was conducted as usual and President Pranab Mukerjee gave awards to the wives of martyrs, who showed immense courage in defending our motherland.
