Moger Mehrhof Architects is using an array of sustainably sourced materials to give a modern reinterpretation to familiar birdhouse forms. Found hickory and oak logs are quartered and left raw for hollowing, and metal scraps donated by a local siding company are bent and fixed to a log to create simple roof forms and gutters. These unique homes are sure to catch they eyes of feathered flyersby.
