Philips recently reduced the energy consumption of lighting at NH Hotels by 80% by fitting 600 hotel rooms across Europe with 23,500 LED lamps. The lamps are rated to last for up to 45,000 hours, which significantly reduces maintenance costs associated with replacing burnt-out incandescent bulbs, and they emit a warm white light that maintains the ambience of the rooms. Check out the infographic above for a closer look at this energy-saving initiative!
