The role
SMEC International Pty Ltd. is a leading Australian company that provides comprehensive consulting and project management services. With operations in 15 countries in Africa, SMEC is set to expand significantly in West Africa region. We are currently seeking applications for the below positions in Nigeria and Ghana.
Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Project Managers
15 years of experience in relevant field and should be able to demonstrate experience and understanding of Solid Waste Management, Water or Irrigation Projects.
Operations Manager
Degree holder with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in coordination of rural development programs.
EOIs and Proposals writers
3 years’ experience in writing and preparing EOIs and proposals, preferably in water and roads projects.
Training Specialist
Master’s degree in Education and at least 10 years of experience in development of adult education materials.
Communication Specialist
Degree in communication studies or a related field with 15 years of experience.
Irrigation Engineer
15 years of relevant professional experience in irrigation development and management (institutional, technical, and economic related matters).
Solid Waste Management Specialist (SWM)
10 years of relevant professional experience in SWM projects.
PPP Expert
Wide international experience of at least 10 years in PPP transactions.
Field Surveyor
Degree in land survey with at least 5 years’ experience in using digital survey and mapping techniques.
Institutional Specialist
Background in engineering and/or applied sociology specializing in rural community organizations with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
