Job Purpose

ITM’s very successful Software & Services Sponsorship team are looking for an experienced Sponsorship Sales Manager to work across its flagship events. The Sales manager role is responsible for £800k of sponsorship and exhibition revenues across a 2-3 flagship events, including the market leading Cable Congress and Managed Services event portfolio. www.cablecongress.com

ITM’s Software and Services division run events across the globe and the successful candidate can expect to travel numerous times throughout the year both to their own conferences and to visit competitive trade shows. Person profile

Previous business to business sales experience in a sales capacity

Proven record of hitting KPI’s including call stats and activity targets

Creative salesperson with the ability to think outside of the box and discover new untapped opportunities to sell our award winning events.

Good sense of humour, outgoing personality and positive manner required.

Strong drive and ambition

Good organisational and time management skills

Team player

Idea generator, initiative-taker

Strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills

Excellent negotiation and rapport building skills

Previous management experience

To proactively identify new sponsorship sales opportunities with likely target companies from the telecoms industry.

Adopting a consultative sales approach and delivering a minimum call time each day of 1.5 hours
