The picture perfect Greek island of Santorini is the most southern of all the Islands of all the Cyclades, a collection of small islands formed by a volcanic eruption. Santorini is a magnificent archipelago sitting in the Aegean Sea just off the coast of Greece.   The island curves round a giant rectangular lagoon, and is essentially the remains of a single island that is now submerged.
