The Front Bottoms have released a music video for new song “West Virginia.” The song is the band’s most recent track since their 2013 album, Talon of the Hawk (The songs on Rose EP were re-recordings of old songs). You can watch the music video below the jump.
The music takes everything that made The Front Bottoms so enjoyable and kicked it up a notch, to create a confessional song about losing the love of your life. Is it raining where you are / the only thing I could think to ask / but nothing ever hurt so bad as the no that you said back, vocalist Brian Sella sings. “West Virginia” includes catchy melodies and a killer guitar riff that creates a blend of folk punk and pop punk. You can get a free download of the song by signing up for the band’s official fan club, The Front Bottoms Motorcycle Club.
The band has a few shows coming up, including the ‘Front Bottoms Motorcycle Club Party’ on June 22 in Brooklyn, New York alongside GDP and Youngman Grand. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, June 10 at 12:00 p.m. EST. You can get a presale password by joining the fan club. Check out the flyer for the show below the jump.
