INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 2, 2016)– The severe weather threat for central Indiana has diminished. Storms have and will continue to weaken over the next few hours. A strong line of storms across eastern Illinois will moves across the northern half of the central Indiana between 9 p.m. and Midnight.  The heaviest rain will fall south of I-70 overnight and some minor flash flooding may occur. Heavy rain and embedded thunderstorms will continue through 2am before the rain ends.



Most of central Indiana has been dropped from the slight risk for severe weather area.





Heavy rain is likely overnight through 2am.

An inch of rain will fall south of I-70 overnight.
