WAUSAU, WI – The Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Wisconsin Foundation, Inc. announced the winners of their 2016 prestigious Torch Awards for Business Ethics and Integrity. EO Johnson Business Technologies was named winner for businesses employing 51 – 500.

The winners were selected by an independent, distinguished panel of nine business ethics experts and announced at a ceremony in the Garage at the Harley-Davidson Museum® in Milwaukee on Tuesday, May 17, 2016. The winners were chosen based on submissions that demonstrated excellence in ethical practices, customer service, reputation, honest advertising, peer recognition, management practices, and employee training in ethical behavior within their industry and community.

“When a business and the great people representing it commit to ethical business practices, the foundation for a successful business is in place,” said Mary Jo Johnson, CEO/Owner – EO Johnson Business Technologies. “It is wonderful that the BBB recognizes businesses for this. Too often the news is full of negative things businesses do, so it is powerful to honor businesses for being ethical, honest, and operating with integrity.”

“It is an honor to shine the spotlight on all these companies and non-profits, who exemplify ethics in the marketplace,” said Ran Hoth, CEO/President – Better Business Bureau Serving Wisconsin. “They join a long list of impressive Wisconsin companies and charities who have achieved this honor in the past 14 years.”
