2013-12-13

I am very excited to share an amazingly new thing that we have never done before here at the Indie Business Network. Announcing Connection Day 2014! Connection Day will be hosted in multiple cities in 2014, starting with Atlanta. Other cities will be added soon including: Los Angeles, Dallas Ft. Worth, Chicago, New York City, Portland, Oregon, Baltimore/Washington, and more! Our first Connection Day is scheduled for February 28, 2014, in Atlanta, and EARLY BIRD registration is open now for this exclusive members only event.

I know how busy you are right now, but 2014 is just around the corner and we have some super new exciting opportunities for you, starting with Connection Day!

What is Connection Day?

Connection Day is a full day of no holds barred foundational business training for creative entrepreneurs who make and sell handmade products, or products manufactured on a small scale.

On Connection Day, you’ll come together with other members in community for uplift and to receive (and give!) encouragement, and also to focus on and solidify the strategic direction for your business.

Under the loving and experienced guidance of the founder and CEO of the Indie Business Network, award-winning entrepreneur Donna Maria Coles Johnson, you’ll enjoy an interactive day of MasterMinding, vision boarding, and the opportunity to apply timeless foundational business principles directly to your business — and start using them right away to boost your success.

Why Connection Day? Small Business: Big Results!

As a fellow small business owner, I know that life can be lonely, scary, and isolating. As I have grown my business over the past 15 years, I have found that nothing helps me step up my game like unplugging from the day-to-day pressures of entrepreneurship to revitalize my efforts and absorb the energy of fellow entrepreneurs. I do this each year on my annual #IndieCruise. Connection Day offers a similar experience, but more focused and in depth, and on dry land, in your own back yard … and sans the snorkeling, zip lining, spa, and beach combing.

You can get a lot out of a virtual networking group, and boy — do we get a lot out of connecting in our private Facebook Group.

But there’s nothing like a face-to-face experience to facilitate the type of bonding that is so important to your success. While we can all embrace and bask in some positive energy online, only in-person connections can spawn the kind of confident “know, like trust,” flow that is required to maximize business opportunities and individual personal growth.

What We’ll Do At Connection Day

Our member Connection Days are structured events where you’ll get a powerful opportunity to connect and Mastermind with your fellow Indie Business Network members at a conveniently located hotel. Here is a snapshot of what you can expect:

:: focused business lifestyle assessments, to help you build a stronger business around your life

:: MasterMind breakout sessions designed to help you *immediately* apply new success principles directly to your business

:: progress and planning presentations by fellow members

:: what works and what does not work for creative entrepreneurs

:: mindset strategies to help you address your highest priorities

:: “how to” tips and tactics to help you get more important things done in less time

:: vision boarding

Overall, it’s a full day of zooming in on your highest priorities so you can keep your business (and your life) focused and on track to achieve your best.
