Choice Unc (11: 3,3,5). Very scarce with the low leaves reverse. This redesigned reverse is a lower relief and was designed to increase the die life. Normally paired with the Small Letters obverse as both designs were introduced mid-year. Most pairings seen are the Large Letter - High Leaves and Small Letters - Low Leaves. Leftover dies were used and a few Low Leaf dies were paired with the older Large Letters design. This die pair and the Small Letters - High Leaves should be included in any comprehensive set of Flying Eagles. This example is fully struck with very few marks.
