The results of NEET 2016 Second Round Results have been announced at the official website. The results will be declared on the basis of All India Quota seats (AIQ). Candidates will need to report at the Allotted medical/Dental College against Round 2. The allotment will be done from tomorrow September 13 to September 20, 2016 (up to 05:00 PM). Candidates can report at the allotted centre for 8 days. The transfer of vacant seats to State Quota is September 20, 2016 after 5 PM. The commencement of MBBS/BDS first year session will be from September 13, 2016. For ST candidates the range of marks for candidates is 466-3013, the number of candidates is 1427. The cut off and mark range for Others-PH is 466-214 while the number of candidates is 430 under this category
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has constituted a Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) for the counseling date candidates are required to see counseling schedule at aipmt.nic.in or mcc.nic.in. National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test-II (UG), 2016 was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. As per the directions of Honourable Supreme court in this matter MCC does counselling for only the 15 % AI Quota seats in Government medical colleges of the country except Andhra Pradesh, Telengana and Jammu Kashmir. For rest 85% State Seats and Private Medical and dental seats, candidates are requested to contact Respective State DME (Director Medical Education) of the State. Candidates in whose result sheet it is written that they are eligible in 15% All India Quota (AIQ) will only be able to register on MCC website for 15% All India counseling. Successful candidates are requested to download their Rank Letters on-line.All candidates are advised to remain in touch with CBSE website and AIPMTas well as Ministry of Health & Family Welfare website till completion of UG admission process for any additional result, counseling schedule, instructions etc. In order to be eligible for NEET 2016 the candidates should have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio technology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General candidates.
