I n the midst of a budget crisis that has resulted in six layoffs and slashed hours at the Red Bank Public Library, borough officials and library board members can at least agree on one thing: The library must remain open.
Following the library board’s March 27 public meeting, however, both sides found it difficult to agree on much else.
