with Kahlin just turning ten, I thought a fun way to mark the year would be to have her put together a list of her favorite books from the last year. these ten books for ten-year-old girls would make great gifts for any girls on your holiday shopping list or welcome additions to your own bookshelf.
the last year has been full of reading milestones in our house. Brenna is really starting to enjoy reading by herself now that she can read bigger books and understand more of them without our help, and Kahlin has graduated to more advanced chapter books. both girls enjoy reading stories about girls their own ages, especially if there are also animals involved!
