On our recent trip to Amsterdam we popped into Scotch & Soda store on Nine Streets, such a cool place to shop. The rain poured down the whole day which cut short our wandering around but not our shopping spirit. My husband really likes Scotch & Soda in London so was keen to see the whole collection and buy some new jeans as he’s been working on his 6 pack for his Brazil trip with the boys!
He was converted to the skinny jean by a pushy sales assistant waving a pair of Diesel jeans at him on a lone shopping trip. Since then there’s no turning back, skinny all the way.
Here’s a quick round up of Scotch & Soda’s skinny/ slim jeans:
Starting with the skinniest one of all, Skim. It has a snug waist and seat, and a tight leg. This 5 pocket style comes in authentic comfort stretch fabrics, giving flexibility despite the tight silhouette.
The Phaidon is a 5 pocket super slim fit. Similar to the (Ralston) slim fit, but with a leg that tapers in more. Styling details include a button fly, slanted front pockets and back leg darts to give a customised feeling.
The Ralston seems to be Scotch & Soda’s key slim style, available in lots of different washes. 5 pocket slim fit. Similar to the super slim fit (Phiadon), but with a leg that tapers in less. This style hugs comfortably in the waist and the seat. Styling details include a button fly, slanted front pockets and back leg darts to give a customised feeling. – My husbands favourite style!
Scotch & Soda just seems to have that eclectic edge when it comes to Men’s styling! Love it….
