Lisa K. Erf, Director and Chief Curator, JPMorgan Chase Art Collection, New York, earned her BFA in painting (1984) and MFA (1987) from the School of Art + Design at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
She has employed her skills as artist, curator, and director in positions across several sectors including commercial, academic, non-profit, and corporate. In her current role as Director of the JP Morgan Chase Art Collection she oversees one of the oldest and most extensive corporate art collections in the world. Founded by David Rockefeller in 1959, the JPMorgan Chase collection comprises 30,000 artworks situated within 450 locations worldwide; it includes work by over 7,800 emerging and established artists representing more than 100 different nationalities and working in a diverse range of media such as paintings, drawings, prints, photography, sculpture, textiles, and video art. The collection of mainly modern and contemporary art features work by artists including Alexander Calder, Josef Albers, Sam Francis, Pierre Soulages, Cy Twombly, Robert Smithson, Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Jeff Koons and Joan Mitchell. In addition to overseeing the JPMorgan Chase collection, Lisa Erf is an independent curator, writer and lecturer.

Tom Kalin is a screenwriter, film director, producer, and professor of experimental film. He received his BFA from School of Art + Design at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1985) and his MFA from the School of Art Institute of Chicago.
From short experimental videos to feature-length narrative films, Tom Kalin’s award-winning, critically acclaimed work has been screened throughout the world. His films and videos are in the permanent collection of the Whitney Museum, the Centre Georges Pompidou and MoMA. His first feature, Swoon, was awarded the Caligari Prize at Berlin, the Fipresci Prize in Stockholm, Best Cinematography at Sundance and the Open Palm at the IFP Gotham Awards. It was named one of the top 100 American Independent films by the British Film Institute. He is a 2011 Guggenheim Fellow and has received awards and fellowships from the Rockefeller Foundation, the Jerome Foundation and NYSCA among others. He has twice been included in the Whitney Biennial and has screened in museums and galleries including ICA, London; Reina Sofia, Madrid; The Cartier Foundation, Paris and The Getty Museum, Los Angeles.
