Battlefield 4 is the latest entry in Electronic Arts’ Battlefield series, the most recent of which, Battlefield 3, was launched just two years ago in October of 2011. Like its predecessors, Battlefield 4 (BF4, for short) is a first-person shooter game that can be played in both single-player and multi-player modes.
A player in single-player mode finds himself in the year 2020, six years after the setting of Battlefield 3. He takes the identity of one Sgt. Daniel, a member of a Special Ops force called Tombstone. Other Tombstone members include the squad leader SSgt. Dunn, SSgt. Kimble “Irish” Graves, and Marine Combat Lifesaver Clayton “Pac” Pakowski. The trailer for the opening sequence, “Fishing in Baku,” which was released in April of this year, is a full 17 minutes long. In it we follow Tombstone’s trek through flooded passageways marked with graffiti, into a swamp, and finally breaking through into an urban landscape. Then, it’s on to China.
BF4 Hack
Battlefield 4 sets a new standard of destructivity. Never has it been so possible to destroy so much landscape, buildings, and personnel as now. This marks an advancement over the game’s predecessor. Also, faces and skin texture are much enhanced over those of Battlefield 3, and new weather effects and clever lighting effects add to the heightened realism.
The multi-player mode of Battlefield 4 is reputed to have three playable factions: the United States, China, and Russia. In June, 2013, EA released mockups of maps used in the game’s Commander mode. A short trailer titled “Siege of Shanghai” showcased the Commander mode. In it, Chinese troops do battle with U.S. Marines, culminating in a skyscraper’s spectacular collapse.

The Battlefield 4 website says “Regardless of what Battlefield 4 version you play, Levolution enables a dynamic battlefield where no two games will ever be the same. Your actions physically change the interactive levels in real-time, creating new challenges on the Battlefield.” To put this all in layman’s terms, we’re talking about destructible
environments. Massively
destructible environments which can significantly change the layout of the game map. The “Siege of Shanghai” puts this dynamic on display in the form of a massive skyscraper located in the center of the map. With a few well placed artillery shells or grenades the entire structure can be brought to the ground, sending up a plume of dust and leaving a twisted mound of debris in its place. To watch it happen is actually quite impressive (making it happen is even better).
On top of the new gameplay elements, the updated graphics provide an immersive and realistic experience. Small elements, like a flock of birds flying away from an explosion or leaves falling off of the trees in wooded areas, make players feel as if they are there in real life. The dynamic lighting of Battlefield 3 continues into 4. Blinding sunlight, blackened corridors and sparse shade furnished by large, dark clouds supply their own set of challenges as well as illumination of the stunning and life-like environment. Vividly colored greenery, a stunningly blue sky and graphic explosions provide a stark contrast to the dull and drab scheme of unfinished buildings and cookie-cutter apartments.
The water elements of the game are beautifully colored and wildly reactive. Any movement into the water, by player, vehicle or even debris, looks very much like the real thing. The sounds in Battlefield 4 supply another level of absorption. The gunfire in the background is subtle but can be heard even when the player is not actively part of the firefight. This is from the other players in multiplayer modes. Explosions are loud, knife sounds are true to form and the voice acting is believable.
