SSC Recruitment 2016—Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an authorized organization to recruit the staff for various posts in the different Ministries and Departments of the central Government of India and in the Subordinate Offices. The commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) that consists of a Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations. The estimate Committee in the Parliament recommended the establishment of a Service Selection Commission in its 47th report during 1967-68.
