MT. VERNON — — Illinois is showing signs of turning around its climate for economic development, according to Illinois Chamber of Commerce President Doug Whitley.
“Illinois has been in a ditch and adrift,” Whitley told members of the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce Thursday. “But I think we’ve turned a corner.”
