Profile : Head Strategic Alliances & Partnerships
The focus of this position will be to grow the Simplilearn Alliance business (Channel partners, strategic partners, academic bodies) in terms of revenue and geography.
The person will head a team that will engage in identification, acquisition and management of alliance partners across the world in order to support and advance the Simplilearn ATP business unit.
Responsibilities will include: evolving new alliance models, team management, assessment and qualification of potential partners, partnership discussions, negotiation of partner agreements, creation and administration of sales and marketing initiatives.
This position also involves significant interaction within the organization and with prospective partners.
Responsible for meeting the budgeted revenue numbers from overseas markets.
Desired Skills and Experience
Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge of the professional certification training industry (Preferred).
7-8 years in a business development/alliances/partner management role.
A person who can take ownership of a growing division in the company.
Analytical thinker with a creative attitude to problem solving and situation management.
Strong influencer, leadership and relationship management skills.
Proven ability for negotiating and working with international partners/customers.
MBA Degree or equivalent.
