Last month, I headed to the Bare soiree at Salon 58 with my friend Alison. It was a fabulous morning! If you haven’t yet been to one of Jackie’s soirees, do yourself a favour and get a ticket for Noir, which is happening this Saturday. You can buy from webtickets, here.

Here are a few snaps from the Bare soiree…

All furniture and layout design was by Okasie

Loved the M.A.C presentation – the make-up artist (can’t remember her name!) was really funny and captivating

Tools!

Jackie spoke on how to build your wardrobe with the essential basics: Breton stripes, denim jacket, wide-leg trousers, sneaker loafers, skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans, white shirt, trench, pencil skirt, black heels, and of course lots of scarves. Loved this!

Maybe Corpaci made for a beautiful model

A talk by the owner of Santa Maria Novella – plus a chance to sniff and spray all these exquisite perfumes and potpourri

Me, wearing my inherited vintage fur (it was John-Louis’ grandmother’s fur, made by his grandfather!)

We all got to choose a flower and tie it to the installation in the dining hall

The most amazing food by Schoon de Companje – baguettes, seed wreaths, salmon gravadlax, cultured butter, couer a la creme, tea eggs, sweet and sour leeks and the most delicious chocolate terrine which I definitely had too much of (all washed down with Graham Beck Brut Zero!)

The long table where we all sat to feast

Too good!
