**Job Summary:**

The Vice President, Marketing Communications, is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing tools and programs that communicate Clear Channel’s value proposition and key benefits to current and potential advertising customers\. In collaboration with colleagues in Marketing Solutions/Creative, Corporate Communications and Marketing Research, this critical role is responsible for telling the “Clear Channel story” and managing how that story comes to life across multiple communications channels, including sales presentations, websites, event sponsorships, social media, blogs/content marketing and email\. Leading and mentoring a team of 3\-5, the VP, Marketing Communications will also regularly analyze and report on data to understand the impact of communications programs, providing ongoing recommendations to optimize their effectiveness and value in driving revenue opportunity\.

**Job Responsibilities**

+ Develop Clear Channel Outdoors’s B2B positioning and core value proposition\. Develop the selling materials to effectively tell the Clear Channel story, in ways that can be easily embraced by Clear Channel’s local and national sales teams\.
+ In partnership with the Marketing Solutions/Creative team, proactively develop sales tools that are easily customized for specific sales needs and opportunities\.
+ Oversee and manage all content & updates to corporate websites, working closely with Clear Channel and iHeart Media’s Technology teams\.
+ Develop and execute a B2B\-targeted social media strategy, ensuring that Clear Channel is seen as an influential thought leader in the digital and OOH media sectors\.
+ In partnership with Corporate Communications, develop and execute content marketing strategies that increase awareness of Clear Channel solutions, success stories, executives and overall thought leadership\. Ensure that content marketing plans are reinforced by social media activities\.

**Job Responsibilities \(continued\)**

+ Oversee all outbound communications to clients and agency partners, in ways that increase demand for and interest in Clear Channel’s media and marketing solutions\. Supplement Clear Channel’s existing customer database with strategically selected and applied contacts that can grow awareness and create more opportunities for Sales\.
+ Supervise the management of all sponsorships and activations of the Clear Channel brand within industry events and conferences\.
+ Supervise Marketing Operations team & analytics/reporting of results of marketing activities\. Provide management with regular reporting on performance, along with recommendations for optimization of activities and return on investment\.
+ Manage and develop team members to grow their capabilities and contributions to the overall Marketing organization\. Drive optimal performance and results\.

**Job Qualifications**

**Education:**

+ Bachelors’ degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or related area of study\.
+ Advance Degree preferred

**Work Experience:**

+ Minimum 10 years of experience with B2B Marketing, preferably in the media/advertising sector\.
+ 3\+ years leading or mentoring Marketing teams

**Skills:**

+ Demonstrated success as a marketing leader, with experience in developing marketing strategies, managing short\- and long\-term projects, driving collaboration across teams, providing superior sales support, applying critical & analytical thinking to solve business problems and tracking results\.
+ Strong understanding of core marketing functions with demonstrated ability to leverage research resources, position media/products/capabilities, and optimize communications
+ Excellent verbal and written communications skills including writing and delivering effective presentations\.
+ Digital fluency: knowledge of digital and online media, demand creation, marketing automation platforms, web development and overall use of digital marketing tools to drive business performance\.
+ Strong organizational / time management skills; detail oriented\.
+ Collaborative and professional style with the objective of building strong relationships with diverse customer groups and partners\.
+ Demonstrated self\-starter with a diligent work ethic and flexibility\.
+ Able to complete required math calculations, analyze research data, assess situations, perform root cause analysis and provide solutions\.
+ Able to think things through and develop processes that contribute to enhanced organizational efficiency\.
+ Proficient in Microsoft software applications \(i\.e\., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint\), Marketing Automation systems \(e\.g\., Hubspot, Marketo\) and social media platforms\.

**Other Requirements:**

+ 25% of time will be travelling to local CCO offices for in\-person coaching, training and participating on sales calls\.
