**Job Summary:**

Leads all aspects of radio station’s on\-air experience in a leadership and operations role, responsible for talent, content, programming, and online presence\.

+ Protect the license of your station\.
+ Responsible for overseeing and executing all on air aspects of his/her radio station – including music, news, production, imaging, air talent, traffic, special features, promotions and events – in consultation with the SVPP/RSVPP\.
+ Schedule daily music logs in accordance with applicable format and music research\.
+ Possess exceptional on air talent skills and perform as a weekday morning show co\-host\.
+ Manage/coach on air talent with frequent listening/aircheck sessions\.
+ Responsible for working with the Digital Team on implementation, content and development of station’s website\. Should also regularly review status and data regarding website performance & growth plans\.
+ Work with the Sales Manager and the sales department to increase revenue, special NTR events and any sponsorship opportunities on the station\.
+ Attend and participate in weekly 1\-on\-1meetings with the SVPP and a collective promotions meeting\.
+ Assist with development and content for your digital extensions\. In partnership with the Digital Team, ensure your website\(s\) is current, correct and provides beneficial information for your listeners and clients\.
+ Help maintain record label contact and relationships in accordance with all company policies and standards\.
+ Assistance to SVPP for projects as directed\.
+ Assist in maintaining and communicating station personality schedules, calendar, and events along with Promotions Director and Sales Executives\.
+ Properly understand and implement research where applicable\.
+ Develop, maintain & regularly update the audience growth strategy for your station\.
+ Do all these duties with excellence\. Lead by example\. The entire staff will take their lead from the PD\.

Requirements:

+ 3\+ years in a programming management position with ratings success
+ 3\+ years of on\-air experience with ratings success
+ Strong talent coaching skills
+ Creative promotional & image\-writing abilities
+ Aggressive, self\-motivated & unafraid of accountability
+ College graduate \(preferred\)
