SEATTLE — The latest offering from famed Seattle restaurateur Ethan Stowell will be called the Goldfinch Tavern and be located inside the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown.
Stowell’s new restaurant will replace the Four Seasons’ previous offering Art Restaurant and is assumed to open in June.
The Goldfinch Tavern will offer authentic Pacific Northwest fare made from regional ingredients and served with sweeping views of Elliot Bay.
“Goldfinch Tavern is going to be the perfect place to just grab a drink or stay on for a leisurely dinner, whether as a solo traveler or with a group of friends or associates,” stated Ilse Harley, general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Seattle.
The eatery design was revealed several weeks ago to rave reviews. Here’s how the design was described in an email to reporters:
Goldfinch Tavern’s design inspiration draws heavily from the hotel’s location overlooking the waterfront. Shades of blue mingle with amber and charcoal, much similar to colors of the sunset over Elliott Bay. Dark oak wood pulls in warmth to the space and scenic views provide the ideal backdrop for a great meal, while a central stone-topped…
