Kim Kardashian’s wardrobe is making us insanely jealous. Yes, we know it’s just a virtual closet that’s not really ours to use or have, but it makes us feel like we have an endless supply of shoes or dresses. I have to accidently catch myself before I go around saying I’ll wear my Balmain dress.

However, now the virtual wardrobe is expanding with even more designer dresses through Karl Lagerfeld. And the crazy thing is, these dresses are genuine looks from his Spring/ Summer 16 collection. Is this really a step too far for gaming? We think not. Who doesn’t want to pretend for 5 minutes that they own a whole wardrobe full of designer clothes…even if it’s virtual?

The wardrobe possibilities in the ‘Kim Kardashian: Hollywood’ game have just increased due to more looks from Karl Lagerfeld being added. Twenty looks have been selected from the designer’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection, which is accessible now on the trendy role-playing game from Glu Mobile Inc. The range makes sure to offer a wide variety of styles from a Choupette hat to a boucle jacket to distressed denim. You have to see it to believe it. The looks are so identical from pieces of the catwalk. It’s crazy that we can get jealous of a gaming character, but with a wardrobe like that we can’t help it.

The collection items allow the designer and his brand to join into the game. Lagerfeld himself debuted in November as a character in the game. The latest items from his Spring/Summer collection will be promoted now until August 1st, but it’s likely that those pieces will be available past the closing date like other designer collections in the past. We are also hoping it means his Fall/ Winter collection will be available at some point.

“Karl Lagerfeld was one of the first major high-fashion brands integrated into’ Kim Kardashian: Hollywood,’ into any Glu title really,” said Glu chief executive officer and chairman Niccolo de Masi.

Masi continues, “The game’s experience already mirrors so much of Kim’s life, adding brands like Karl Lagerfeld was simply an extension of that, which has really taken off. What’s really interesting is we’re able to see how much time players spend interacting with the different brands. For Karl Lagerfeld’s last integration into the game, players spent an average of 50 minutes with the brand over the course of 30 days, which is huge exposure. We hope the Spring/Summer 2016 collection does just as well.”

Lagerfeld joins a number of other brands that have already appeared in the game such as Judith Leiber Couture, Balmain, Alice + Olivier and Nars Cosmetics. The game has also managed to create appearances from fashion icons including Olivier Rousteing, Andre Leon Talley, Anna Dello Russo and Jen Atkin, along with several other members of the Kardashian and Jenner clan. Also, after Kim’s turn in motherhood, you can even adopt or have your own baby on the game.

The two-year-old app has been successful in the competitive gaming world with it having 45 million downloads since its launch. It’s also been reported to have revenue of $157.88 million that was recorded through March alone.
