So who are they?
Wink Soap was founded in 2010 by Mindi Williams who suffered from dry, sensitive skin and itchy rashes. After trying many commercial products with no relief she discovered handmade soap; it cleansed and moisturized her skin, was environmentally safe and contained only natural plant-based ingredients.
Being a vegan for many years, using vegan products in her everyday life is just as important to Mindi as keeping a vegan diet. She was thrilled to have found an exceptional product that rescued her skin and could be produced using only natural vegetable oils, butters and essential oils. As a result of this new found discovery, Mindi decided to share her love of handmade soap with the world and learned the art of making soap.
What’s their mission?
Wink Soap aims to provide customers with an alternative to the mainstream beauty products that are full of synthetic detergents, harsh chemicals, artificial colors, preservatives and parabens. At Wink, they believe soap should be as natural and homemade as possible, created with all natural vegetable oils and butters, and made the old fashioned way using the cold process method.
Wink Soap only produces products that are vegan friendly. They do not believe any animal should be utilized or harmed for the production of our handmade soap or any of our bath and beauty products. This includes animal testing, animal cruelty, using animal by-products or any part of the animal before, during or after the production of our products.
In addition, Wink Soap donates 10% of all net proceeds to PETA: People for the Ethical Treament of Animals to help support the fight against animal cruelty.
