YSR Congress party’s president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy seems to have finally relented to the pressure from his rank and file. In this regard, he is all set for shifting his party headquarters soon to Mangalagiri.
With this move, he is expected to become more available for people here. He has been only operating his party from his Lotus Pond which has become Jagan Reddy’s residence-cum-office in Hyderabad city.
All the major political parties such as TDP, the Congress and even Andhra unit of BJP moved already to Vijayawada and Amaravati region. Moreover it is an open fact that the YSR Congress party has completely become irrelevant in Telangana even as it remains a powerful opposition in Andhra Pradesh.
Finally Jagan is all set to shift his base to Amaravati. This comes close on the heels of Power Star Pawan Kalyan deciding to enrol himself as a voter in Eluru town of Coastal Andhra Pradesh. This also hints at the virtual eroding of Andhra political power away from Hyderabad after more than six decades.
