It was only fair that I equal the game and write an article on the Top Ten Hottest Male Athletes since I previously wrote the Top Ten Hottest Female Athletes. Who wouldn't want to recognize the most athletic, talented, strong, and gorgeous athletes in the world.

10. Kelly Slater



Robert Kelly Slater is an American professional surfer known for his competitive style and talent. He has been crowned the youngest ASP World Tour Champion at the age of 20 and the oldest to have won that title at the age of 39. He held the title of ASP World Tour Champion 11 times, setting yet another record. In 1997 Slater became the most successful champion in the history of surfing. Slater had been sponsored primarily by Quiksilver since 1990 until his recent departure on April 1, 2014 to collaborate with fashion brand conglomerate Kering. Slater is currently the only world tour surfer to compete without a main clothing sponsor.

9. Blake Griffin



Griffin is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Los Angeles Clippers. Griffin attended Oklahoma Christian High School, and won state titles each year under his father,who was head coach. He then played college basketball for the University of Oklahoma where he was named the Consensus National Player of the Year his sophomore season. Griffin left college after two seasons to enter the 2009 NBA Draft; the Clippers selected Griffin first in the overall pick.

8. Victor Cruz

Cruz currently plays for the New York Giants as a wide receiver. Cruz was born in Paterson, New Jersey but attended college in Massachusetts. He was drafted as a free agent in 2010 by the Giants in the offseason. He scored 11 touchdowns in his career thus far, and had just under 2,000 receiving yards. Cruz was named a first-team All-Colonial Athletic Association wide receiver for the years 2008 and 2009.

7. Wes Welker

You may recognize Bush more for his high profile celebrity relationships, but he's a very talented running back. He currently plays for the Detroit Lions however, he did play for the Miami Dolphins, and the New Orleans Saints before the Lions. He played college football for the University of Southern California where he earned All-American honors twice, and was recognized as the top college running back. He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints second overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft.

5. Henrik Lunqvist

Lundqvist is a Swedish professional ice hockey goalie for the New York Rangers. He is the only goaltender in NHL history to hold 30 wins in his first seven seasons. Ranger fans have given him the nickname of “King Henrik.”

4. Roger Federer

Federer is a Swiss professional tennis player who is currently ranked world no. 3 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). Numerous commentators, former, and current players of the sport regard Federer as the greatest tennis player of all time.

Lochte is an American competitive swimmer and an eleven-time Olympic medalist (five gold, three silver, three bronze). He specializes in the backstroke but is also a competitive freestyle swimmer. He has great speed for the distance he attains while underwater. He holds the world records in 4x200-meter freestyle relay, the 100-meter individual medley, 200-meter individual medley, and the 400-meter individual medley. Lochte's success has earned him the World Swimmer of the Year Award and the American Swimmer of the Year Award twice. He has won a total of 74 medals in major international competitions from the Olympics, the World, Pan American, and Pan Pacific Championships.

2. Cristiano Ronaldo

Born in 1985, Ronaldo is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a forward for Spanish club Real Madrid #7,and captains the Portugal national team. Ronaldo became the world's most expensive player when he moved from Manchester United to Real Madrid in 2009.

1. David Beckham

Although retired he still captures the attention of men and women all around the world. Beckham has played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, Los Angeles Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain, and the England national team. He was the first English player to win league titles in four countries: England, Spain, the United States, and France. He announced his retirement at the end of the 2012-13 season, and on May 18, 2013 he played his final game to end his his 20-year career.
